"The SPC Readers are produced by the South Pacific Commission for primary school children to whom English is taught as a second or foreign language, and integrate with the SPC/Tate "Oral English" Course. This Reader, Alternative Series, Book 8, is integrated With Junior Series Book 8, Workbook 8, And Teachers Book 8. Reader 8A should not be introduced until pupils have at least reached the level in "Oral English" at the beginning of Oral Book 11"--Back of title page.
